As we celebrate the team's recent achievements, we must also acknowledge the instrumental role of our head coaches, Shantel Koger and Gerron Alexander, as well as the assistant coaches. Their exceptional leadership, dedication, and invaluable contributions have been the driving force behind our team's success. Koger, who also teaches special education at MELA, and Alexander, who teaches science at Millwood High School, have truly been the backbone of the team. The coaches and athletes were recognized for their accomplishments during the May Millwood Board of Education meeting.
