Dear Millwood Public School District Community, We are excited to remind you that Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place tonight from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and tomorrow, Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our teachers, discuss your child's progress, and strengthen our partnership in education. We hope to see everyone over the next two days!

Good Evening Arts Academy Families, All students must be in uniform tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Tomorrow evening, we will begin our Parent-Teacher Conferences, @5:00pm -8:00 pm. We will continue on Thursday, October 10, 2024 @8:00a.m -noon All students will receive a Fall Break Packet, and it should be returned along with students on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Please have a safe and wonderful Fall Break.

Good Evening MELA Families! Tomorrow, October 3rd, students are encouraged to wear Millwood colors to celebrate Homecoming week. Students should wear Millwood colored tops/Millwood gear with uniform bottoms. We look forward to celebrating Homecoming with our MELA Falcons!

Good Evening Arts Academy Families, We want to say thank you for this week. It has been a very tough week for students and staff. We are slowly getting back to our new normal and will still need lots of support. Students will be able to dress out for free Tomorrow, Thursday, October 3, 2024. The House of Amistad and The House of Reveur will be attending this Focus Friday, September 27, 2024 from 8 am -12 pm. Dear Millwood Public Schools Community, We are excited to announce that our Homecoming Parade will take place on October 3rd at 1:30 PM! The parade will kick off at the Field House, proceed up MLK to Service Road, and conclude at the High School. Join us as we celebrate our Homecoming Court, cheer on our athletic teams, and enjoy the incredible sounds of the Millwood Mighty Marching Band, under the direction of Davaro "Showtime" Wilson. It promises to be a fantastic day filled with school spirit and community pride. We look forward to seeing you there!

This is a great opportunity to support our student-athletes and enjoy a season full of exciting games. Dear Millwood Public Schools Families, We are pleased to inform you that progress reports for your students will be posted today. You can view these reports online through the Parent Portal. If you have not yet signed up for the Parent Portal, we strongly encourage you to do so. This valuable tool allows you to track your child’s grades and attendance, ensuring you stay informed about their academic progress and school activities throughout the year.

The Millwood School-Based Health Clinic will be open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students, parents, staff, and members of the community can access high-quality preventive care, such as sports physicals, immunizations, flu shots, vision and hearing screening, and urgent care. Walk-ins are welcome.

Good Evening Millwood Arts Academy Falcon Families, Tomorrow September 12, 2024, only 7th and 8th Graders will be allowed to dress out for free. We will continue to work with our 6th graders so that will be able to join the 7th and 8th graders on next week for dress out. Reminder we will have our Open House Night on tomorrow from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. We are expecting 100% attendance. Please stop by and meet and greet with our teachers. Good Evening Arts Academy Family, We have received several phone calls regarding Spirit Week at the High School. The Arts Academy will not be participating with the High School Spirit Week. We have upcoming spirit weeks along with homecoming activities. Students will be in uniform on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. of this week. As long as Arts Academy Students perform to expectations they will be allowed to participate in dress out for $1.00 on Thursday. Good Evening Falcon Families, We want to thank all of our families for making sure your scholar is focused and here daily at Millwood Arts Academy on time. Tomorrow, September 5, 2024, all students will be allowed to dress out for free. No holes anywhere on pants or shorts. Hoodies must remain in lockers unless it is a Millwood Hoodie. No vulgar language on shirts. Friday, September 6, 2024, all students are expected to be on campus for Focus Friday. The times are from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. Normal Bus Routes will be scheduled and Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Future Friday Focus schedule will be posted on our Millwood website.
